The City of Granite Shoals provides water and garbage service to the residents and businesses within the City. These services are on one monthly bill and individually itemized. 

Water

Water Rates are updated from time-to-time by City Council Ordinance.  The water rates may be found in the General Fee Schedule which is Appendix B of the City Code. 

The City of Granite Shoals consistently tests and treats our public drinking water to provide a superior quality drinking water to the members of this community by production, purification, and distribution of water that meets or exceed both state and federal requirements. In addition to our extensive testing and treatment program, we also systematically flush our water distribution lines to remove residual particles and introduce freshly treated water.

Discontinue Water or Garbage Services

Voluntary Donation

The City Council of Granite Shoals approved the ability for residents to donate $3.00 per month via water bill payments for the support of police, fire, and emergency medical services. The money donated to the city by this method is divided equally among the services.
