The City of Granite Shoals has a City Charter, which is similar to how a corporation has By-Laws.  The City Charter was adopted in 2005 and has been updated only 2 times. 

The current Charter Review Committee was formed on September 27, 2022, during a regular City Council Meeting.  The Charter Review Committee has been charged with reviewing the current charter and suggesting updates and amendments to be voted upon in the next city election.
