To File a Complaint

When filing a formal complaint against a peace officer, state law (Texas Government Code 614.022) states that the complaint must be in writing and signed by the complainant. Please see the How to File a Complaint document below for more information. A written complaint can be filed with any police department supervisor or the City Manager.
